  • This App does NOT work

    By DavidD2018
I have two children where we installed the app on iphones and ipads. If the device is turned off or goes into airplane mode, the VPN shuts off....and doesn’t turn back on. It doesn’t accurately keep track of time used and the reporting of where the child has visited is flawed. I asked for refund as was simply told how to cancel auto renew. I sent another email asking who to contact to discuss dysfunctional app and have been ignored.
  • No customer service response

I managed to forget my password, and there’s now way to reset it. I tried contacting the company with no response. Email only, no phone number provided. I spent money for a full year subscription, and I was only able to use it for a couple months. Not happy. That’s a lot of wasted money.

-Need to be able to customize what is and isn’t considered entertainment, including specific websites -if adult content is allowed, the website(s) should not show up on the parent’s phone as usage (so long as the parent agrees with this) or else it’s just embarrassing. -don’t count background play !!!! I use an app to play music from YouTube in the background and it counts as entertainment time.
  • Good for younger kids

My 15 year old daughter does her chores no problem with this app. It’s great for that, however, the app doesn’t allow you to have a schedule or limit only specific apps. You can’t see any personal activity, just how much time they use on certain apps. Not worth the money imo.
  • Deleted the app after two days

I like the concept but the execution is very poor. Too easy for kids to work around it and the tech support is nonexistent. I’ve emailed them 3 times and heard nothing. I wanted to try it for the full free trial period as I was sincerely interested in getting a subscription, but I got fed up after a few days. Many flaws. Too many flaws.
  • Excellent concept; poor execution; zero support

Worked fine for the first few days. Now nothing. No real troubleshooting or support.

  • Great philosophy in screen time management

    By WWR Extra
The pragmatic approach that Alon and his team use to approach the issue of screen time management is refreshing and useful. We don't need a parent-substitute, but it helpful that the "enforcer" is the software. We didn't start using until we had the discussion with our child about why we were doing it. This made it much less Big Brother and much more Effective Caring Parent.
  • Great App With Great Features

    By utopia1
I had tried OurPact's premium service and the setup was so complicated I gave up without ever getting it to work on the first device. The thought of me having to go through this aggravation on 3 more devices was enough to make me go back to UnGlue. I had tried UnGlue with the free trial and it was very simple to set up and use it plus had more features. Kids can earn more time by doing chores or walking so this helps it to be more than an electronic police but teach them good habits. Great job UnGlue, I'm now a paying customer!
  • Amazing App!!

We have been using this app for a while now (at least a year). It is the only app that I pay a fee for, and it is worth it. My 13 year old daughter has ADHD/Aspergers and has problems with self regulation. This app helps her to monitor her phone usage as well as her chores. She enjoys banking time so she can have more on the weekend or our less busy days. For my 16 year old I appreciate being able to turn her internet on and off so easily. It may not work out so well for most teenagers (It only lasted on my sons phone for a month). But it is great for younger children, middle schoolers, or those with unique needs. The best part is the amazing customer service. Anytime I have had a problem I get a prompt response. Usually the problem has already been fixed. I appreciate this the most.
