Description

Pokémon GO just introduced a new research feature that encourages Trainers to explore the world by completing a variety of objectives with the opportunity to earn helpful rewards and discover powerful Pokémon. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 800 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! • The gyms need mending.

The gym system has multiple issues that must be fixed: 1. We need to be able to take Pokémon off gyms. I just had a Pokémon gone for over 9 days with no way to get it back, which brings me to my next point. 2. After being gone for over nine days, my Pokémon brought back no coins because another had brought back coins that morning. The coin system needs some type of fix for when gyms are defended for days on end, even over a week. This is a critical issue for me that ruins gameplay, as it makes it difficult to more thoroughly enjoy the game. 3. There is a medal I have no access to, which is the Training medal. A huge part of the fun for me is filling out the medals, but that medal can no longer be completed with the removal of training. I don’t see why the training system was removed, but there should be some other way of earning this medal, even if the training is only to give you points at the gym and nothing else.

New bugs with each PoGo app update :( This version times out if restarting iPhone or restarting app (to prevent it from crashing). The timeout forces log out and log back in. Sometimes cannot log back in for a long time.

I’ve been getting notifications of a special bag upgrade in the shop that can give you 2000 or so item storage, but it’s not in there. I’ve really been enjoying the game more since they’ve added the requests in, but I do hope trading and/or pvp will be added soon. Additionally, I think it’s a bit cheap that we always have to just throw out extra items away, even assigning a 1 or 2 coin value to it would at least make it worthwhile to collect. My biggest issue is the great lack of access to incenses and incubators, unless you buy them. You don’t even get them guaranteed with level ups anymore, and if you’re 25+ like me, leveling takes a good deal of grinding. When the game was first released, you would at least get one every once in a while from pokestops, but I haven’t seen one pop up from those in at least a year. Yet I’m constantly bombarded with eggs whenever there’s a free space. I’ve really enjoyed the game overall, but I hope that they make more changes with the players in mind moreso than their wallets.

I absolutely love the app but for the past week I am lucky if the game even loads. I’ve tried practically everything to fix the issue and none of them have worked. Clear cache. Turn phone off and on. Uninstall and reinstall the app. And many more.

  • Raid bosses too hard

The raid bosses like Latias, Latios, Ho-oh, and other bosses are way too hard to catch. I’m not able to get out much, so I can’t do that many raids. The bosses are too hard, so that the bosses leave the gyms, so I can’t get them in time. I just recently did a Ho-oh raid, and I got a golden rassberry, curveball excellent, and the ball didn’t even roll once. He got out and ran away. Since most of the raids happen during the week, I can’t do them, because I’m at school.
  • Great game but could be better

Its a great game and you can level up really fast but i think that the pokecoin should have more ways to be obtained besides being bought and won by having a Pokémon in the gym for so long, for example in pokestops or leveling up
