Description

Pokémon GO has now introduced social and trading features that allow Trainers to connect with each other by adding friends, sending Gifts, and participating in a new Friendship level system that unlocks bonuses. Trainers can now trade Pokémon with other Trainers nearby, earning a Candy Bonus for the Pokémon received. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 800 million times and named "Best Mobile Game" by The Game Developers Choice Awards and "Best App of the Year" by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! • Just humans being humans

So I have a lot of people ask me things like, “Why would you play that!” Or “Someone died using that app!” Or “You’re going to wander into private territory!” Can we just take a moment to take in how ridiculous that is? If you don’t want to play it because of safety issues or fears, don’t play it. But really, there isn’t a real threat to safety in the game. The people who got injured or walked into someone’s house were just being stupid. Just humans being humans, I guess. It even buzzes when there’s a Pokemon, so you don’t have to look at your phone at all unless you’re actually catching a Pokémon, in which case you would have to stay still anyway. It alerts you when you’re going to fast to make sure you aren’t driving. So please, give them a chance!!!

I absolutely hate it when you force me to update before playing. Please let me update the app on my own time and stop forcing me to update when I only have a couple minutes to play. Otherwise I’ll quit playing this stupid waste of time game.

At first it was great but now it’s a constant update. It’s not just the “update” that’s annoying but that every update takes forever to downloadZ This is just too cool to pass up! I had saw previews for this and I really never thought it would be released! Yes! Pros: amazing!👌 Cons: constant updates 😭

The censoring on what names can be given to anything is getting to be way to strict. Why does it matter what we name a pokemon? No one else will see the name unless they show it off, trade it, or have it as a buddy. Have it show as “pokemon” instead of what it’s been named by someone. And when it’s traded, have the name reset. Then allow people to name things whatever they want.

Love this game! It motivates to get out and walk, I feel like time passes and I’ve already walked my goal for the day. I love how involved it makes me feel with my friends and people in the community.

I love the game, it is a unique and innovative way to influence activity, so many different metas in the game always allow for something to do, I just wish that sometime soon the ability to battle friends in 1v1 Pokémon battle would be implemented, thank you for your time.
  • Don’t spend money on this app

Niantic is a bunch of money hungry no life’s. They preach about “fairness” but ban spoofers that live in small cities with no pokestops or gyms, when there are more populated areas with gyms and stops everywhere. Yeah, that’s fair.
  • Fun but unbelievably frustrating

I started playing this game when it first came out and I’m on a road trip so I downloaded it again and I’m now lvl 17. It was fun for a while but a time waster nonetheless. But I swear it just like to mess with you sometimes. I saw a charmander with 188 cp and so I bought some Poké balls from the pokéshop because I was out. AND I SPENT 25 POKÉ BALLS, A GREAT BALL, 7 PINEAPPLE FRUITS, 4 PINK BANANA FRUITS, AND A RASPBERRY JUST TRYING TO GET HIM AND I NEVER DID. And No, I’m not a bad aim(lol) I would land “nice” shots over and over again. But nope, that’s not good enough for it. I’ve hear it’s a game of chance but I still feel like it did it on purpose. So just be warned, it’s A, a time waster(like most games), B, frustrating, and C, kind of like gambling. You may loose all your stuff and get nothing.
