  • Could be better!

    By Casual RVer
So far we have used CopilotRV for around 1000 plus miles. Some freeways are not marked correctly, i.e. East bound should be west bound, l75 south going to 475 was not listed. Luckily I got it figured out in time. Overall I will give it 3 stars. Could be better.

The copilot app is total trash. The positive reviews must be from people with no experience using any type of navigation apps. > Clunky to the point where it’s hazardous to try and use while driving. Not intuitive in the least with features being hidden. > the voice command tells notifies you about a turn about .1 before the turn approaches - because it’s super easy to change lanes at the last minute in an RV - stupid. > the entire app isn’t worth any more than $5. It’s only 1 step away from google maps or Waze deciding to track bridges and adding it as one of their own features - making this entire app irrelevant. > DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY
  • Sound Problems

If you have a Ford Sync system and you prefer using a direct USB connection to connect your phone instead of Bluetooth, I suggest you avoid this app. Turn by turn navigation sound does not always work with a direct USB connection. Support was no help and would not (or could not) respond to emails after initially contacting them. They also do not offer a refund through the Apple store.
  • Copilot doesn’t run

I downloaded copilot RV to my iPad. Seems to function great while setting up for a trip, until I pull out of the driveway. Then everything stops. It stops tracking my movement and nothing I have tried gets it going again.
  • Copilot RV GPS

    By BDEye
This is an excellent navigation tool. I’ve used a number of GPS devices including the one built into the dash of our rig but this is better from every perspective. We run it on an iPad Mini which seems to be the perfect size. The current version has an issue where it is not speaking the exit numbers or street names when an exit or turn is approaching. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

This app would be 5 stars if it would speak the exit number without having to look at the screen. When driving in heavy traffic and several exits close together and it is not safe having to look at the screen to confirm which exit I need.
  • App won’t open

Paid for, loaded all info. App kicked me of before completion. Won’t open. Good scam for 60.00
  • Not worth the money

    By Tapme11111
I’ve never spent so much money on an app that was so useless. I get better information from free map apps, including traffic. I have a class c motorhome, and I thought this would be great to navigate me safely. I knew there was a windy, steep road on my trip that I wanted to avoid. After a lot of frustration, I finally figured out how to save my route with the avoided road (tech help wasn’t very helpful here, they pointed me to the help manual, which I’d already read). On my trip, after loading my route with the avoided road, my copilot still tried to reroute me to the road I told it to avoid. Beyond frustrating. I also thought I’d get a year of traffic reporting free - maybe I misunderstood, but it’s $10 a year. Very disappointing.
  • Not satisfied

Our first trip using CoPilot has not been a good one. I have decided that using Google Maps is far more accurate and user friendly. I was not successful in getting around the site and will not be using this app any longer.
  • Low Bridges

    By Robison100
So I went out for a test drive on a route in Georgia that I knew had a Bridge clearance of 13’7” without my RV (Thank Goodness). I configured my RV at 14 foot in height just to see in the co-pilot app. It not only suggested that route as the primary route but actually guided me through the hazard in my opinion. Do not depend on this app. I think I will just use a truck gps app. Wish I could get a refund!
