    I have been with the program three months and it has helped tremendously. I struggle to get « out I myself » and see how I act and react in situations. This mindfulness practice is gentle and kind, yet strong. I look forward to it - sometimes checking in 2 or 3 times on the toughest days. You owe it to yourself to try it out.

    I have worked on losing weight with mindful eating approach for years but have always gotten tripped up with cravings.... and put on weight. I have always wanted peace around food and this is the first time I’ve experienced such calm and sanity in making healthy choices and eating appropriate portions. It’s been one month and my clothes are getting looser and I am not struggling. There is so much interactive support and amazingly, you have access to medical professionals (including program creator) online and in weekly group sessions- for the price of a subscription! Flexible approach that takes advantage of technology to make it easy for you. If you are someone who struggles, this will help you.

    If it wasn’t happening to me, I wouldn’t believe it. The first day I lost 2 lbs and for the week I lost 5.5 lbs. Mindfully eating and checking in has reduced my cravings and I’m changing eating habits. E.g. eating when I’m hungry, eating slower, making healthy food choices.

    A different approach to changing one’s use of food. There are so many elements within this app. I have gotten value from different ones at different times. The daily instruction, the weekly life check in, the community board are all great. I have also used the recently added “theme weeks” for added insights and improvements. For anyone who is wondering if this could help them, I can say from my experience that it has been invaluable. It gives you techniques and tools that actually change your behaviors. Very thoughtful and well developed. There is A LOT that the app has to offer.

    This app is a powerful tool for making us more aware of the why, what, and how of eating. It balances the science of eating with the use of practical tools for building new habits. It only takes a few minutes a day, and provides coaching every step of the day. It’s not an easy or a quick fix, but it works!

    Eat Right Now is a well-designed app with good tech support. It covers the science of compulsive/overeating, and applies the best of both science and mindfulness training to help change eating habits. There is a basic 28-day program, which many do more than once, followed by theme week options. The daily lessons are brief, direct, and often funny! There are many resources like meditations and reviews to support the daily lessons. The online community for users is truly supportive. Each week, the app developer, Dr. Judson Brewer, hosts an online support session. There’s even a second weekly session for users in Southern Hemisphere hosted by a strong app community facilitator. This is not a quick fix; there is NO quick fix. This requires participation but is really worth the effort and the cost of the app.
