  • Best workout app I’ve used

    This is by far the best workout app I’ve used. Most of the other apps I’ve used have similar suggestion abilities but the fresh muscle groups help with making sure you don’t overwork and the user interface is by far the best I’ve seen. The only suggestion I have would be to add a calendar to be able to view the month and see overviews rather than having to scroll way back to see what I did a week or so ago.

    I enjoy the app. I’m down 60 lbs in 7months and down to 13% body fat in the same timeframe.—Although, I’m going to take most of the credit for that this app has helped organize my workouts in an easier way than a simple, but time consuming excel spread sheet would. My absolute pet peeve with this app is its lack of exercises. They don’t have simple exercises that nearly every gym has machines for or areas for such as a torso rotation machine, I have to log it under a different exercise. No exercise listed for walking, jogging, swimming, basketball (I’m sure this is tougher to measure). I’d also say the app lacks targeting some major muscle groups in your glutes and traps(they are considered accessory muscles on the app, yikes). Additionally, like most apps this one does not focus on which heads are being worked in your triceps, biceps, shoulders etc.There are also some “achievement” bugs, last week my achievements no longer list a chart(the info is still there luckily). Again, it’s better than most, but certainly has a long way to go, especially if they want to keep getting $ monthly to use the app.

    Great app but could be better. The new update makes it almost impossible to rearrange the exercises because when you hold on the exercise, the video will show up instead of being able to drag it. Please fix this ASAP because this is really annoying and I would love to keep using the paid version of this app

    It makes exercising a lot easier. It takes the guesswork out of which muscles I should be working. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it has been draining my battery. I just finished a 1hr 23min workout and my battery is at 35%. It was fully charged before the workout.

    I love this app. I have a home gym with varying equipment from a squat rack to dumbbells to exercise bands. Fitbod is the only fitness app I’ve found that that builds workouts based on the exact equipment I have (not “full gym”, “body weight”, etc.). No other app has the customization I’ve found here. I love that I’m also able to adjust my workouts based on my time available, lifting style, and more. Great job Fitbod!

    I’m loving this app I’ve been working out for 8+ years making my own workouts on the spot. for someone like me this is extremely effective for the purpose of when I make my workouts I tend to pick my favorites and repeat it on a weekly basis.This app not only tracks your workouts and keeps the workout different every visit it adapts to what weight you can lift and gets smarter while giving you a challenging workout. It has many customization options depending on your fitness level and a pretty sweet system to track what muscles are still recovering, or you can scale your recovery yourself. Pay the 5$ monthly or 50$ yearly this app is worth every dollar.
