The automatic workout generator is excellent, the interface is gorgeous, and certain key features like the easy substitution of one exercise for another and the ability to customize recovery percentages are truly brilliant." “Great for Beginners too! Love the Fitbod app, it has helped me so much in my workouts and development. Was stuck for years around 15% body fat and doing the same workout. After using the app for 2-3 months, went to 10% body fat and doing so many different things during the workout. Thank you so much for this app." Instagram: Twitter: Facebook: Strava: Privacy Policy: Terms of Use:

I’ve always enjoyed cardio workouts and had wanted to sprinkle some resistance training in, but never knew where to start, or what to track, or what equipment to use and how. This app was really the perfect gentle introduction. I’ve continued using it for over a year, and now I slightly prefer weight lifting to cardio, which I never expected. It did take me a bit to learn the main exercises, but once I got used to them, I couldn’t stay away from the app. The features are all really great - I can use it to generate a quick 15 minute workout or a longer 45 minute one, and can customize it depending on whether I’m at my work gym, my apartment gym, or not around any equipment at all, and based on my overall mood and what’s sore. Most of all I like the variety, both within and across each workout, and all the customizable features, and how it tracks logged workouts and recovering muscle groups. It all prevents exercising from getting stale and keeps me on my toes. I’ve enjoyed seeing the additional features over the past year, especially the “achievements” tracking, and am looking forward to getting more use from the app in the future.
  • It’s like a workout library!

If you can get to the gym on your own this app can train you no matter what your level or preference of exercises... toning, body building, with weights or just your own body resistance type exercises.

  • This is the App I have been looking for

    By Camera Junkie 100
I have been looking for an app that would track my workouts, give me customized routines to help me reach my goals, and keep me challenged in the gym. This app is GREAT! I have used it for over 3 months and it is worth the price. I am a runner / cyclist, and strength training has never been my preference. This app has helped strength training become something I now enjoy. This is a gym app you need to give a try!
  • Work hard, get results

I love to work out. However, I’m bad about recording my workouts and changing things up. Getting a fitness coach/trainer is one option if you have an unlimited bank account and like to keep appointments. Not me on either. This app was introduced to me so I tried it out. After the third workout I up graded and haven’t regretted it yet. It tracks my weights and progression. Changes up the workouts to keep things fresh and stimulate growth. But realize this is just an algorithm. You still need to listen to your body. If you have pains do not ignore them and just follow the next workout. Make appropriate adjustments. Feedback from Fitbod is awesome and immediate. This is a great app for the beginner and advanced.
  • Try it out

My usually workouts consist of running and abs. I knew to cut back and become more lean I wanted an app that picked out what to do and explained because I don’t know weightlifting “terms/exercises.” So I have been enjoy this app. Plus I’m feeling results because of the consistency of working out.
  • Changed my entire gym regime!

I couldn’t find a trainer at the odd times I goto gym because of my crazy work hours. And Fitbod rescued me from my plateauing workouts and I can’t stress how much this app has changed my workouts. Ps. I’ve had an iPhone for 4 years now and this is my first app review. That’s how much this app has impressed me.

This is by far the best fitness i’ve used. Very helpful and easy to use. You can track your work outs and it prepares daily routines for you. You can make any adjustments you need. An awesome fitness app!
  • So excited then so disappointed

*Update: After receiving a discounted rate i am very excited to be using this app for the next year* When I first heard about this app I thought this was too good to be true. As someone who has been working out for a long time but because of work and life etc I begin to lose creativity in changing up/ adding to my workouts. I thought this app was going to be the answer to my problems. It lets me put in my fitness goals and my schedule and allows me to customize my routine to my liking. I love that it gives simple tutorials for any movements that I haven’t used before along with the suggested reps/sets. Added bonus it tracks the weights I used for me where I no longer have to record myself. After my first workout (which was great btw) I realize that by the end of the week the app will be useless unless I pay a yearly subscription. Wish $50 a year wasn’t a big deal for me but it is. Guess it’s back to figuring it out on my own.

I would actually give it 5 stars but I don’t want to think the app is perfect yet!
