Description

According to a new survey, 1-out-of-3 people admit to secretly going through other people's phones – scrolling through text messages, photos, and emails. Insecurity puts a stop to this by taking a picture of the snooper the instant they unlock your phone! Here's how it works: 1) Click the "Set Trap" button 2) Lock your phone (works with and without passcode). 3) The next person to unlock your phone will have a picture taken of them by the front camera. And an alarm will sound if your volume is turned up! This photo is only saved to your Insecurity account and therefore, the snooper can't delete it from your camera roll. This app is not intended to keep your phone or it's content safe. It is meant to deter your friends, family, and girlfriends or boyfriends from going through your phone by taking an unexpected (and usually unflattering) photo of them - catching them red handed in the act of snooping! The resulting photos are hilarious. When you log in to your free Insecurity account, you can view a gallery of all the wonderful mug shots. Enjoy!

It would be great if it worked when any of the buttons were pressed. A person pressing the home button can easily see who called or texted. The app shouldn’t only work if the person knows the passcode to access the phone.
  • This app is a fraud.

I just paid $1.99 for a app that absolutely does nothing . I hope this app is taken down by App Store to avoid stealing from others.

I have an iPhone 7 plus and when I set the trap the photo is black when the trap is triggered. Waste of 2 dollars. I want a refund!
  • Worst app ever not worth $2

I was looking for an app that would catch snoopers. This app fit the description until I found out the phone has to be opened for it to take a picture. Do not by, won't work unless they know password and that means it is a useless app after that.
  • Now my phone is secure!

My girlfriend always asks me why I change my passcode. I ask her why she needs it if she isn't going through my phone. Her excuse is always, "what if there's and emergency and I need to get into your phone?" Well, now I can catch her going into my phone when I am in the shower. What emergency happened when I was in the shower?! Thought so. Say cheese!

I don't think this is the right snooping app. I want an app that will catch them and they don't know it. Take a silent picture and I put in some code to get it. This is too obvious and they won't be deterred. Waste of two bucks.
  • What an awesome, clever app

I love the loud sound it makes when someone opens my phone! Scared the crap out of my girl. Hahaha. I love how the person who gets caught can't delete the photo because it's saved to your account and not your camera roll. Really great!
  • Would be great if.....

The concept behind this whole app is very cool, and its neat the way it works. BUT, in order for me to use it I have to turn off my iPhone password?! And every time I want to see who was snooping, I have to log into the program. They should warn you of this BEFORE you give them $3. It seems turning your password off so you can use a program to make sure nobody snoops into your phone is a little unsafe. And having to log into the app every time and setting it up is very annoying. I want a refund.
